In order to complete the areao4.2 rainmeter series, so I made this skin and also the icon I made by myself in photoshop.
Spent about 6 hours from designing and scripting. Dedicated for the areao4.2 user!

And about the glitches, I have fixed it! Thanks to the guys who commented it. :D

Long words in the weather description are cut off and I was reading through the comments to see if there was a solution. However, I don't know what part of the skin I should edit. I'm kind of a noob at these things so any help would be awesome =)

i suggest you to redownload again, search the [Variables], under this section, it has WeatherCodeLocation=ASXX0112, change ASXX0112 into your weather code
:D
hope it solve your problem

I really like this, but sometimes the icons and words seem to be messed up. It looks like parts of the icons and words/numbers are missing and torn off in random spots, not that the words are too long and cut off. It's as if parts of the clouds were scratched off like chipped paint.

When I refresh, the skin everything repairs itself, but it always comes back :<

None of the other components in rainmeter are affected, so it seems to be specifically in this one skin. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

ah ha! after a bit of searching, i think i finally found a fix. i wish i sort of took a screenshot, but basically there's a graphical glitch that appears after a while (i think when the weather feed updates) and there are bits and pieces missing from the text and icons.

here's the fix! copy/paste this into the skin's .ini file, and place it before the meters. i placed mine after [Variables] and before [MeasureWeatherRSS], and it seems to work:

[BackgroundMeter]
Meter=Image
W=210
H=230
SolidColor=0,0,0,1

ld-jing, i would suggest that you please add this fix to your skin! i see that this is one of the first few lines in the .ini:

[Rainmeter]
Background=bg.png

but i don't think it works properly, at least not in the latest version. i'm using 1.2 Rev 416 (64-bit).

actually, that turns out it didn't work. i'm trying to apply the fix shown in this thread, as it seems that other users are experiencing similar problems on other skins.
